VIVA LEISURE GROWS PRESENCE IN REGIONAL VICTORIA WITH LATEST ACQUISITION

16 AUGUST 2019

Viva Leisure is pleased to announce it has signed a binding agreement for the acquisition of the last Fitness 24/7 location, known as Fitness 24/7 Wodonga Express. The location will be the second regional Victorian club for Viva Leisure, and operating location number 42.

The new acquisition is expected to be completed shortly and will add approximately 350 new members to Viva Leisure’s growing portfolio.  Under the Company’s hub and spoke model and proven management systems, Viva Leisure expects this location will have a capacity for 700 members.

The Wodonga Express location was not included in the original Fitness 24 Seven acquisition as it was owned by a different Vendor.

Harry Konstantinou, CEO and Managing Director of Viva Leisure shares:

“The acquisition of the final Fitness 24 Seven location in Wodonga is an important milestone for the company as it continues its hub and spoke model in regional Australia.  With a new greenfield location in Albury also secured, it will bring a total of five Viva Leisure sites, across two of our brands, being Club Lime and hiit republic, to the communities of Albury and Wodonga.

Once all locations are open, Viva Leisure will have cemented its market-leading position in the region, providing the best value proposition for local members, with the largest variety of options to assist them with their training and fitness needs.”
