25 JULY 2019

Viva Leisure is pleased to announce it has completed the acquisition of the Project Fitness Group based in Mitchell, Australian Capital Territory.

The acquisition comprises one boutique functional fitness studio which will now become known as hiit republic Mitchell.  This is the fourth location for hiit republic after our Tuggeranong (ACT), Kingston (ACT) and Queanbeyan (NSW) studios opened over the previous four months.

Conversion from Project Fitness Group branding and systems to hiit republic has commenced and is expected to be completed within the next week.

Harry Konstantinou, CEO and Managing Director of Viva Leisure commented:

"The Project Fitness Group business is one of the most respected functional training facilities in Canberra with an extremely loyal following.  The owners Tal and Jimmy have done an incredible job identifying, establishing and filing a niche in the market.  We are extremely excited by what the future will bring by merging the Project Fitness Group location into the hiit republic family."

Tal Evans, co-owner of Project Fitness said:

“Starting our own business was very exciting for both Jimmy and me several years back.  We are proud of our achievements and the achievements of our many members over the years.  We are excited to now move the business to the next stage of its life as a hiit republic boutique studio, which joins multiple other hiit republic studios already operating.  Jimmy will continue as manager, and you will still see me around running classes and personal training my clients.  Thank you for your support over the many years.”
